Thoughts: (Before Injury)

I believe Boyett will have another great year at the safety position for Oregon. He is definitely an All-American caliber safety on the college level. Boyett should be the next Duck’s defensive back to head to the NFL. In order for him to raise his stock in the 2013 draft he needs to add more weight while maintaining or increasing speed. Also, during the season he needs to show he can read run more quickly and fill a gap. Boyett needs to show more aggression on point of attack when tackling ball carriers. Some NFL teams should be willing to overlook his height disadvantage for his on field performance. If he improves the things he needs to work on and maintains the skills he is already good at, he will succeed on the next level if giving the chance.
